AA and NHPI Community
The UW Combined Fund Drive stands in solidarity with the Asian, Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AA and NHPI) communities. We recognize and support the struggle of AA and NHPI people to be seen, respected, heard and protected, and denounce all forms of discrimination, harassment, and racialized violence against AA and NHPI people.
Report incidents of hate and bias
Report Bias Incidents at UW: Report all incidents of bias or suspected bias using the UW’s bias reporting tool, which was created in partnership with the Office of Minority Affairs and Diversity, the Office of Student Life and the president’s Race & Equity Initiative.
Stop AAPI Hate tracks and responds to incidents of hate, violence, harassment, discrimination, shunning, and child bullying against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the United States.

Take Action
Be The Match, a UWCFD-partner nonprofit bone marrow and stem cell donor registry to help people with blood cancers, just launched the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Member Enrollment Program to address the need of finding stem cell donors for patients of Asian American and Pacific Islander ancestry. Right now, only 9% of potential donors on the Be The Match Registry identify as Asian. Join the donor registry.
Be The Match, in partnership with UWCFD and The Whole U, will be holding an in-person donor registry event this month. Join us on Red Square Monday, May 23 from 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. to join the registry and help someone live a life full of possibilities.
