Salary increases for staff jobs as of July 1, 2024

The following changes for staff jobs are effective July 1, 2024. The July 1, 2024 increases should be visible in Workday as of July 22, 2024 and reflected on July 25, 2024 paychecks.
3% across-the-board increases for contract classified employees covered by the following collective bargaining agreements:
- Inlandboatmen’s Union (IBU)
- SEIU 1199NW HMC/ALNW
- SEIU 1199NW Research/Hall Health
- SEIU 1199NW UWMC-NW
- SEIU 925
- WFSE
- WSNA UWMC-NW
- WSNA UWMC-ML
3% across-the-board increases for classified non-union (CNU) employees.
7.5% recruitment and retention increases (R&Rs) for Inlandboatmen’s Union (IBU) employees.
10% across-the-board increase for Teamsters 117 Campus Police Officers and WFSE Police Management Sergeants and Lieutenants.
3.5% across-the-board increase for Teamsters 117 Print Plant Craft employees.
The UWHR Compensation office and the Workday HRP Application Management team will centrally manage the increases for impacted employees. Employees will see the increase on their 7/25/24 paychecks.
Note: Employee movements (new hires, reclassifications, R&Rs, CEGP, FTE changes, and transfers) that have been processed prior to 7/1 but are effective on or after 7/1 will show the pre-7/1 rates in Workday. These discrepancies will be caught in pay period audits and will be corrected by WMS/Application Management to reflect the 7/1 increases.
