EXPERIENCE / SELECTED PROJECTS
ProjectCorps was engaged to provide Project Management support and subject matter expertise to UW Information Technology (UW-IT) in support of the UW Finance Transformation (FT) Program. ProjectCorps was responsible for providing an estimate of the scope and level of effort of the work to be performed by UW-IT resources in support of the UW Finance Transformation Implementation. The estimate and documentation included integrations of data and systems, EDW / BI, analytics, future state technical architecture, gap applications, systems remediation, systems decommissioning, and change management. This work has since been expanded to include additional Project Manager and Business Analysis support for conversions, system remediations and retirements, resolution of the Student Database, and FT support for other UW departments including the Office of Research Information Services (ORIS).
ProjectCorps was engaged to provide an operational assessment of the UW College of Arts and Sciences Henry S. Jackson School. Three ProjectCorps Principal Consultants were engaged, two with backgrounds in University level academia including a Ph.D., and a Certified Coach, to complete a thorough analysis of current roles, responsibilities, and staffing within the School, in-depth interviews with key College stakeholders, and an online survey to capture candid insights. ProjectCorps provided weekly status updates for and with the Executive Sponsor, and an Executive Assessment Report developed for and presented to the Executive Sponsor. This report included a high-level implementation plan to roll out changes and modifications to current staffing structures and responsibilities in preparation for the new Dean beginning in Q1 2020. The highly visible Summit Re-Implementation (SRI) Project was the first stage of the Finance and Procurement transformation for the City of Seattle. The Scope of the SRI project included functional scope (the core PeopleSoft 9.2 software in five key business areas) and technical scope (the supporting technology infrastructure and software to make the new software work). With the implementation already far behind schedule and over budget, ProjectCorps was engaged to support and deliver the PeopleSoft Re-implementation at the City of Seattle. This project impacted all 36 City Departments. We staffed the Senior Project Manager role, a second Project Manager role and three Developer roles. Additionally, ProjectCorps was asked to design, develop, and implement a new Time and Labor Application for the City of Seattle. We had a Project Manager and 3 developers from ProjectCorps on this project. Our work developing this new Time and Labor Application saved the City of Seattle $8.5 million on this portion of the project alone.
A state-wide health plan engaged a ProjectCorps Consultant experienced in Healthcare and Healthcare IT to assess the current Utilization Management (UM) processes, workflows, systems, and tools to determine how best to improve efficiencies, consistency, and productivity. This project resulted in an executive report of findings and recommendation, and a roadmap forward. The roadmap was fully executed, transformed this significant portion of their business, and enabled the health plan to absorb other health plans.
