Record keeping training
This self-paced training is intended for hiring managers and others who participate in the staff hiring process such as interview panelists and is approximately one hour long. It describes the larger legal and policy framework that guides the University’s staff hiring process; familiarizes staff about records creation, use, retention, and storage during the staff hiring process; and trains staff about UW’s Equal Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action commitments under Section 503 of the federal Rehabilitation Act. It provides hiring managers and others involved in staff hiring the knowledge of laws, policies, and practices needed to ensure the University’s hiring process is transparent, objective, and equitable.
