Childcare at Harborview Medical Center

The University of Washington Children’s Center (UWCC) at Harborview offers year-round full-time care to infants, toddlers, preschool and Kindergarten prep and is operated by Bright Horizons. Priority
Level 1: Siblings of children currently enrolled at this childcare center
Level 2: Children of Harborview employees with “critical hire/retention” priority (requires the recommendation by appointing authority and approval by the Vice President for UWHR).
Level 3: Children of UW employees who work at Harborview in PEBB benefits-eligible appointments that are half-time or more.
Level 4: Children of University employees with PEBB benefits-eligible appointments who work half-time or more.
Level 5: Children of all other types of employees who have a University appointment of half-time or more, but are not PEBB eligible.
Level 6: Children of University students who are enrolled appropriately for their degree program.
Level 7: Children of full-time employees of the contracted childcare vendor.

Wait pool
Submit an application to add your name to the children’s center wait pool. There is a $25 wait pool fee per family.
